TeamCity is a continuous integration and continuous delivery server developed by JetBrains. It is a server-based web application written in Java. TeamCity is proprietary commercial software with a freemium license for up to 20 build configurations and three free build agents. (i) sell, redistribute, encumber, give, loan, rent, lease, sublicense or otherwise transfer any software or any part of the Software to any third party without Licensor`s prior written consent; “Software” means the dotPeek software in binary form, including its documentation, upgrades provided pursuant to Section 8 of this Agreement and any third-party software owned and licensed pursuant to Section 6 of this Agreement by parties other than Licensor and either incorporated into dotPeek or incorporated into dotPeek, is integrated with dotPeek (collectively, the “Third Party Software”). A permissive license, the main terms of which require the maintenance of copyright and license notices. Contributors offer an explicit grant of patent rights.

Licensed works, modifications and larger works can be distributed under different conditions and without source code. However, dotPeek has a downside: on my rugged machine, it takes 9 seconds to boot. I think it shares a lot of DLLs with Resharper that notoriously slow down the launch of Visual Studio. On the same rugged computer, Visual Studio 2022 takes 11 seconds to open the 160 projects and 4,200 classes in the OrchadCore solution. Despite this annoying slowdown, dotpeek remains my usual .NET decompiler. (a) Licensee agrees to comply with the terms and conditions contained in the Third Party Software License Agreements with respect to the applicable Third Party Software. The short answer is yes, unless it is expressly prohibited. For example, the dotPeek License Agreement states, “Before using dotpeek for decompilation purposes, you must ensure that decompilation of binary code is not prohibited by the applicable license agreement (unless you are expressly permitted to do so by applicable law) or that you have obtained permission from the copyright owner to decompile the binary code.” The software includes decompilation functions that allow the reproduction of the source code from the original binary code. Licensee acknowledges that binary code and source code may be protected by copyright and trademark rights.

Prior to using the Software for decompilation purposes, Licensee agrees to ensure that decompilation of the binary code is not prohibited by the applicable license agreement or that Licensee has obtained permission to decompile the binary code from the copyright owner. The use of software is entirely optional. Licensor does not encourage or tolerate the use of the Software and disclaims any liability for its use by Licensor in violation of applicable law.
